I was a little skeptical about this because I didn’t wanna have to put this all around my entire house forever, but once my cat learned he would get stuck to a certain area if he tried to scratch, he never bothered it again! I’ve cut these sheets into smaller strips/pieces instead of going around the bends of furniture, like the arm of my couch, because if your furniture is oddly shaped the tape won’t lay perfectly and will be very noticeable when you walk by. Overall a good product!

Definitely worked at detouring the cat from scratching. Didn’t realize it was double sided sticky tape though so it got covered in pet fur pretty quickly which made the couch look bad. It’s also a bit of a pain to remove but it didn’t damage the couch.

My cats TORE UP my last couch, like bad. When I got a new one I did not want them doing the same so I tried this out after a few recommendations and reading a few reviews. Since putting on my couch they haven't even tried scratching. I don't know what it is but its working and I love it.

My favorite thing about these sheets of double sided sticky clear plastic is the little tab that makes it easy to remove the backing layers in the right order. I had tried applying double-sided scotch tape, without success. These sheets stick well enough that the cats won't scratch where they were scratching before. They are very flexible, and invisible after applied. Each time I see a cat scratch (I have two three-year old cats) I scold, which they don't understand, but I cover that spot with a piece of this clear sticky plastic. They don't scratch there again at all. Every few days, one scratches on another favorite spot, and I cover it. I was too busy to try to train them when they were younger, and they have ruined a lot of woodwork and upholstered furniture. Now, I have also supplied them with a piece of old rug, with the jute backing exposed, fixed down with elastic ropes over some small step-stools. Whenever they scratch there, they get a small treat...a piece of kibble. ( they are otherwise fed canned food). One has learned to scratch repeatedly for repeated treats. The other can't understand why, after she has scratched, I don't keep giving treats. It has not yet occurred to her to scratch again for more treats! She thinks that scratching is just a way of telling me that she wants treats..why can't I remember what she just asked for? She'll learn. The other items I have offered them to scratch, bought commercially, have never interested them at all.

Works so well I ordered a second set, and will probably order again too. Only thing is that the tape can be so sticky that it can attach to cat fur/paw pads stronger than the couch. My kitten got all wrapped up in a piece of it and it was quite the job to get her unstuck. Not a good idea to leave kitty unattended long while strips are in use.

This is double sided sticky, which does keep the cat from scratching. However, it is a magnet for fur. I can keep them on for about 7 days before they need to be changed out because of all the fur stick to it. I am going to look for something that does not have to be repeatedly changed out.

I put these on my entertainment center to keep the cats from jumping on it. Worked like a charm. They jumped on it a few times and realized they hated the sticky surface and immediately got off. Now they don't even look at the entertainment center. These are awesome!

I originally rated this product a "1" after applying my first package and seeing it "rolling" off the couch the next morning. I then received the second package which I had already ordered. This time, I rubbed each sheet, once sticking it to the couch but before removing the blue sheet, for several minutes; trying to build up some heat. As of now, A week or so later, ALL sheets are still AS APPLIED. My FOUR 8-week old, rambunctious kittens walk up to it, sniff, and turn away. One of them did actually try touching it and decided it was not the wise thing to do. I would also like to mention that the CUSTOMER SERVICE I received during this experience was beyond EXCELLENT! You know, the kind that you dream of but thought it was a thing of the past! PANTHER ARMOR, you ROCK! Thank you for helping me to train these four precious kittens!
